Additional Info
Due to insurance requirements, the Piper Seneca II is not available for public rental. It is only available for dual instruction and rental for FAA Practical.
We require all our students/renters to carry non-owned aircraft insurance, minimum coverage of $50,000 for physical damage. Policy must specify multi-engine coverage. All policies should have coverage for damage to aircraft/persons/and property. You wouldn’t drive your own car, rent a car, or ride a motorcycle without coverage, so why fly a plane without it either?
To start your medical, you will complete FAA Form 8500-8 online. Information entered into MedXPress will be available for your FAA-designated AME to review. Click here to search the FAA database for an AME near you. Choose AME in the Designee Types dropdown, and then we’ve found it’s easiest to search by location by entering your county (or parish in Louisiana) and the state.
