Description
If you've always dreamed of flying a commercial jet or hauling freight through the air, our Professional Pilot Program can help get you there. Even if you've never flown before, this course will help you soar!
With this course, you'll start with your Private Pilot License (PPL), then continue with your Instrument Rating (IR) to become a safer pilot, and then wrap it up with your Commercial Pilot License (CPL) to prepare you for your career in aviation. Along the way, you'll earn your complex endorsement and multi-engine rating as well. In as little as 8-10 months with our FAA approved Part 141 courses, you'll be on your way to an office in the sky and the career you want!
Enrollment Requirements
- Read, write, speak and understand English.
- Obtain an FAA student pilot certificate.
- Provide passport or birth certificate for proof of US citizenship.
- International students must complete TSA registration and authorization.
- Obtain at least an FAA third-class medical certificate.
- Hold at least an FAA Private Pilot Certificate with an airplane category and single-engine class rating and an instrument rating with an airplane category.
- Secure non-owned aircraft insurance with $50,000 minimum coverage for aircraft physical damage. Must have coverage for multi-engine aircraft before starting that portion of the course.
- Complete enrollment application and pay application & technology fees.
- Purchase books and supplies.
Policies
Details for all NOAT&FT Policies are included in the application packet, but here is a brief overview of the ones we get asked about most.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Lessons cancelled or rescheduled with notice 72 hours or more are not charged. If the cancellation/rescheduling is between 72 to 48 hours before the reservation, a $75 fee is assessed. Any cancellation/rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice will be assessed the full cancellation fee per the full policy. Extenuating circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
WEATHER POLICY: If a flight lesson is scheduled, the student is expected to attend regardless of weather. Weather days provide a valuable opportunity to focus on core knowledge.
SCHEDULING: Currently all lessons/rentals are scheduled through the front desk or your instructor if front desk staff is not available. You can check current availability through Flight Schedule Pro.

Additional Info
Students must be at least 16 years old to fly solo and be at least 17 years of age for a rating. Training can begin prior to those milestones, but we recommend a meeting with our Chief Instructor before enrolling.
Minimum flight time listed for Instrument Ratings is instrument time, not total flight time. Most flight lessons will also include at least 0.3 VFR flight time.
We require all our students/renters to carry non-owned aircraft insurance, minimum coverage of $50,000 for physical damage. All policies should have coverage for damage to aircraft/persons/and property. You wouldn’t drive your own car, rent a car, or ride a motorcycle without coverage, so why fly a plane without it either?
To start your medical, you will complete FAA Form 8500-8 online. Information entered into MedXPress will be available for your FAA-designated AME to review.
